Join Rocky Mountain Equality's wildest Pride celebration for 2025 at the Junkyard Social Club. Queer Circus is an 18+ cabaret-style show featuring local LGBTQ+ comedians, dancers, poets, musicians, entertainers, and performing artists. Drinks will be available for purchase for those 21+.
Hosted by Aimee Herman and Ren Q. Dawe, this Pride kickoff is the hottest variety show in the state.
All proceeds will benefit Rocky Mountain Equality's QTPOC and Cultural Programming.
Doors open at 7pm. The show begins at 7:30pm and will be followed by a dance party with DJ Disco Witch from 9pm - 10:30pm. Get tickets here for $25.
PERFORMERS INCLUDE:
Aimee Herman is a gay, trans writer and educator. They are a member of the poetry band, Brand New Queers, and can be found playing their ukulele, embroidering naked bodies or listening to records or cassette tapes because they are a dinosaur.
Rouge Morte materialized in the land of enchantment February 2022. This non-binary burly baddie has been dancing their way from Arizona to Atlanta since then. They are the little red death of New Mexico: Rouge Morte.
Oak Chezar is a performance artist, a scholar, writer, and semi retired, barbarian revolutionary.
Hot Lava has been melting faces and pants off of audience members all over Northern Colorado and Denver for the past 3 years! This fireball of queer sunshine is here to heal some religious trauma today. She will have you praying for more and begging to confess. Feel the heat and get ready to erupt with HOT LAVA!
Cara Leoni is a comedian based in Boulder. Cara is a producer of the ‘Colorado Queer Comedy Festival’ and ‘The Matriarchy Presents’. Cara has featured throughout Colorado and has sold out shows on the road. A self described rascal, you can find her performing at local bars and comedy clubs or knee deep in a project she’ll never finish.
Brennan Sexyback is your favorite circus king. He is a certified silly goose who loves gymnastics, cheer, aerial dance, and juggling. Brennan is a trans man, an educator, and is the reigning Mister Gay Pride of All Colorado 2024-2025.
LeeLee channels her engineering education, figure skating background, and intersectionality-informed creativity into Wearable Art through her YouTube series, Twirling Tech Goddess. Having studied Computer Science and Art at the University of Colorado Boulder, LeeLee believes that greater access to technological information, skills, and experiences for those who have been historically marginalized is of the utmost importance in creating an equitable future for all. She is also the Mother of the Colorado Chapter of the pioneering House of LaBeija.
Steph Lujan is a local singer-songwriter. They are proudly queer and non-binary. They write songs from their heart and soul, and sometimes from the ego. You can find them on YouTube, Tik Tok, and Instagram @stephlujanmusic.
Sassy Deville is a multi-faceted performer who performs all over Denver, Boulder, and Beyond! She has 9 years of circus performing under her belt and she specializes in hoops, fire, aerial, bellydance, and burlesque. She is the sassy Cuban circus performer, Sassy DeVille.
Ember Flame is a spitfire of a human being who has be tantalizing and titillating audience across Colorado, Texas, and New England! They know how to bring the heat to the stage that is sure to make your panties melt. There is no stopping this wildfire.
Kendoll Clitzone is a comedic force of nature. Their conversational flow will smooth the ride as you follow their gender journey, hear acute social observations, and have images put in your head that will never leave – no matter how much you try. Buckle in for a ride with the Drag Demon of the Rockies.
Martin Dadisman was born in a cabin he built himself. He was raised on hose water and neglect. Martin is a poet, adventurer and live artist.
Ren Dawe is a trans activist, stand-up comedian, writer, and educator. They’ve performed across the country, in comedy festivals from Portland to New York to New Orleans to Alaska. Ren’s work has been featured on tv and radio, and received acclaim during their first national tour, the "Pretty, Witty, & Gay Show" in 2024. They are currently on the "Here to Pee" comedy tour featuring an all-trans lineup visiting all 50 states.
